After one 2-hour session, most beginners have a solid grasp of the basics and can get through a full game with support. Mastering the rules and strategy comes with ADDITIONAL lessons and Regular play — but the first session is always the most fun.

Our Team
Our Atlanta instructors are experienced American Mahjong teachers who have guided hundreds of beginners and private groups across Atlanta.
Elise
Atlanta, GA native and Baylor University grad who works as an interior designer. Her mother-in-law, who's obsessed with the game, taught her to play. She loves watching the lesson click for people and seeing them get a little competitive along the way. Outside of mahjong: reading, walks with her husband and puppy, and time with friends and family.
Joelle
Seattle, WA native and Santa Clara University grad in tech sales. Clara taught her to play, and she loves meeting new people and hearing what drew them to the game — there's something special about a room full of people focused on tiles instead of phones. In her free time, she plays tennis and golf, bakes, and needlepoints.
