Emily
Austin, TX native and University of Georgia grad, Account Executive at MongoDB. Her grandma Mimi taught her in middle school, and it quickly became a favorite family activity. She loves creating a space where people connect face-to-face and leave with new friendships. Outside of mahjong: traveling (she's building her own travel app), pilates/hot yoga, reading, and cooking for friends.
Lilly Grace
Nashville, TN native and University of Georgia grad entering her 2nd year of law school. She fell in love with the tiles' aesthetics and convinced her mom to host a mother-daughter lesson over Christmas break years ago — she's been playing ever since. She loves watching the patterns click for students. Outside of mahjong: running, yoga, and trying new restaurants around Nashville.
What Our Students Are Saying
“I tried mahjong by myself for the first time at a So Bam Fun class, and it was so much fun. The instructors made it super easy and engaging to learn. I left with new friends, confidence in playing the game, and my first mahjong win!”
- Jessica, So Bam Fun Attendee
“When I decided to take a job in Nashville, one of the first things I looked for was a Mahjong group and finding SoBamFun was the best surprise. Since moving, it's become one of my favorite weekly routines, giving me two hours to unplug, be present, and connect with an incredible group of women.
