After one 2-hour session, most beginners have a solid grasp of the basics and can get through a full game with support. Mastering the rules and strategy comes with ADDITIONAL lessons and Regular play — but the first session is always the most fun.

Our Team
Our Orange County instructors are experienced American Mahjong teachers who have guided hundreds of beginners and private groups across Orange County.
Amanda
Orange County, CA native and TCU grad who works in interior design. Clara taught her to play in Dallas, and she loved it so much she was hooked instantly. She loves meeting new people and sharing the game. Free time means the beach — and pretty much any other hobby you can think of.
Claire
Orange County, CA native and Point Loma Nazarene University grad who teaches elementary school. She learned to play from friends who'd taken a class, and loves sharing the joy of the game and watching people from all walks of life connect. Outside of mahjong: pickleball, surfing, and walking the San Clemente beach trail.
